Additional Skill Acquisition Program (ASAP) jointly with the Department of Higher Education Kerala has launched the official website for Reboot Kerala Hackathon 2020. The website is released by Dr. Usha Titus IAS, Principal Secretary, Department of Higher Education, Kerala, at Trivandrum. Official registrations for the colleges and student teams have started from today onwards, through the official website of Reboot Kerala Hackathon.
The website describes the Reboot Kerala Hackathon in detail and is open to the public. The website is facilitated with registration options for both Higher Education Institutes and students as a team. In the initial stage, higher education institutes including engineering colleges, arts & science colleges, polytechnics, ITI, etc. can register on their own. Followingly, students can register as a team, after choosing their college and stream. Once a team leader is registered through the portal, students will be able to add other team members. The website itself will be used as the single-window for students to register their team, find problem statements, and submitting the problem solutions throughout the hackathon season.
The Reboot Kerala Hackathon is aimed for students from HEIs within the state, in order to solve various pressing problems faced by government organizations as well as private institutions. Students can increase their contribution towards society and social causes, and gain practical knowledge in problem-solving by participating in the Hackathon. Institutions and the student teams can now start registering on the web portal for the hackathon. The last date for submitting the solutions for the online hackathon is 20th November 2020.
